BSA2B21
The BSA3B21 counterbalance valve holds a hydraulic load securely and prevents runaway by only allowing flow from the cylinder when pilot pressure opens it. It uses 1⁄2 BSPP ports, handles up to about 60 l/min at a maximum pressure of 350 bar and has an adjustable relief valve factory‑set at 210 bar. Its steel body measures roughly 100 mm long by 60 mm high with mounting centres about 84 mm apart and weighs around 1.25 kg. The relief setting can be tuned over a 30–210 bar range, increasing roughly 80 bar per turn of the adjustment screw.
Key specifications
Port size: 1⁄2 BSPP threads for connection to BSPP hydraulic circuits.
Flow and pressure: Rated for up to 60 l/min (≈15.9 US gpm) with a maximum working pressure of 350 bar (≈5075 psi); standard relief setting is 210 bar with 30–210 bar adjustment range.
Dimensions: Approx. 100 mm length, 60 mm height and 84 mm mounting‑hole spacing; other dimensions include P ≈ 21 mm and Q ≈ 67.5 mm.
Construction: Steel body (aluminium optional) with integrated relief cartridge; weight about 1.25 kg (≈2.76 lb).
Adjustment: Relief pressure increases roughly 80 bar per turn, allowing the user to fine‑tune load‑holding pressure; optional tamper‑proof cap available.
